The International Cricket Council (the icc) has nominated four players, including Pakistan captain Babar Azam, for the'ODI Player of the Year' award in the men's order.
Other players nominated to include Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh, Jan man Milan of South Africa and Paul Sterling of Ireland.
Babar Azam has played only six matches in the time 2021 and scored 405 runs at the normal of67.50, including two centuries.
Former Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan has played nine matches this time, scoring 277 runs at the normal of39.57 and taking 17 lattices.

Jan man Milan of South Africa has played eight matches this time and scored 509 runs at a normal of84.83 with the help of two centuries and two half-centuries.
Ireland's Paul Sterling remained the top arranger of 2021 with 705 runs. He was the loftiest- scoring a batsman for Ireland with 285 runs in the ODI series against Afghanistan in 2021.
In this series, he also scored two centuries against Afghanistan in the United Arab Emirates.
The ICC's a voting academe, which includes transnational justice intelligences and broadcasters, will elect the ODI Player of the Time by a voting.
The ICC will also give justice suckers the right to bounce on its digital platforms, and addict votes will be taken into the account when opting the Test Player of the Time.
